Chicago urban rustic wedding with Sandra Armenteros Photography

The Haight is a hip warehouse that is also an incredible venue for an urban rustic Chicago wedding. When my brother and his fiance, Annalise, were searching for a Chicago wedding reception venue, they were sold on The Haight before they officially even toured the space. It fit their desire for a chic and rustic design perfectly and we were thrilled when they chose to work with our Associate Coordinator, Megan, in bringing the day to life!

Since their last name is Dum, they played up the name in several different aspects of their reception. For instance, their head tables were the letters D, U, and M instead of your traditional numerical numbers, and then all of their bridal party introduction songs contained some kind of “dum” in the lyrics. Clever, right?! We thought so, too! 🙂

There were so many personal touches throughout the wedding from the custom signs to the gorgeous lettering by the bride herself! Because the space itself was so rustic and gorgeous, there wasn’t a need for much decoration other than the personalized touches they had and some incredible flowers. The long farmhouse tables were adorned with gorgeous blush florals and greenery from Town & Country Gardens. With romantic cafe lighting throughout the space, the vibe was intimate and full of love and warmth!

Taking a trip outside Indiana for a Chicago wedding is always fun, especially when it’s your brother’s! And when you get to work with incredible Chicago-based vendors, including the wonderful Sandra Armenteros Photography, it’s even better.
