Let’s be honest: there is no such thing as a “perfect” wedding, but there are two things you can do to make sure your day goes as wonderfully as it possibly can. 1. Hire an amazing team of vendors that you trust, who will take the logistics off of your plate and the stress off of your shoulders. 2. Always remember what your wedding day is about. You’re getting married and are about to start a life with your best friend! If you do both of these things, it won’t matter what goes right or wrong on the day of — your wedding will forever be precious in your memories.

Emma and Mike are a prime example of a couple that took these tips to heart beautifully. We were so honored to take on the coordination for their Sahm’s Atrium at the Tower wedding so they could stay totally focused on tip #2! Their wedding design was simple, but so classic, and the hand-lettered details added such a sweet personal touch — Emma even designed and lettered the escort cards for each guest herself. Every step of the way, they were genuine, kind, organized, and fun to work with. By the time the big day rolled around, all they wanted to do was celebrate! Some of our favorite moments were the Maid of Honor’s speech, which struck the perfect balance between sweet and hilarious, and the way their band, My Yellow Rickshaw, filled the dance floor. Emma and Mike couldn’t stop gushing about how perfectly the day had gone by the time they arrived at their reception, and we’re confident their feelings didn’t change as the evening unfolded!
