We love when we coordinate and are able to witness a wedding day that simply feels like it was made for our couple from start to finish. There were so many things about Christie and Matt’s summer celebration that kept making us think about how their day was so undoubtedly them, and we’re so excited to share more!

During the lead up to their wedding day, we worked closely with Christie and her mom. And they were both an absolute delight! Together, they (and Matt) had such a beautiful vision for the day, and they trusted our team completely to make sure everything came together exactly how they had hoped. That’s always such a gift!

It was so clear that Christie had such a great time getting ready with her mom and bridesmaids. One of our favorite moments of the day was when Christie put on her wedding dress. We always love to see brides wearing the dresses they have chosen, and Christie’s dress looked like it was designed just for her! Everything from the deep V-neckline to how the dress twirled when she spun was absolutely spot on. And Christie’s mom’s ruffled dress matched her personality, too!

After Christie and Matt officially became a married duo at St. John The Evangelist, they traveled with their wedding party and families to Biltwell Event Center. The space offers a great mix of modern and rustic details, like the beautiful exposed brick beams, and couples are able to make it their own through simple touches.

When guests entered the space, a champagne wall greeted them to signal that they had arrived at a fun party! Then they were able to find their table via a seating chart sign that said “Our Favorite People”— a saying that’s an easy and simple way to make guests feel loved—at the top.

Christie and Matt added a mixture of high and low floral centerpieces created by Rusted Window to their tables, and we particularly loved the long family-style head table where the bride and groom dined with their wedding party. The draping by Atmospheres Indy that crossed behind the two of them was perfect, and it also beautifully highlighted the statement cake! Bistro lighting, greenery, and candles helped to complete the look of the reception space, and we also have to highlight the couple’s cute and simple photo booth that was designed with a sofa, a boxwood backdrop, and a sign with their new shared last name.

We always hope our couples have so much fun throughout their wedding days, and we truly believe that Christie and Matt loved every second. Their families were sweet and kind, just like both of them, and their wedding party made sure they felt celebrated throughout the day. Plus, C + M’s details perfectly accented the space at the Biltwell Event Center. This is a day we love to relive!
