In honor of Mother’s Day weekend, I am {finally} sharing our newborn session with the lovely Ivan + Louise Images! Mike and I welcomed our first little one, William Dale Mattingly, into the world on January 18th and we simply cannot get enough of this little guy! He’s just shy of four months old already, sporting more smiles these days, starting to laugh, and has lost most of all that hair you see in these photos…with the exception of a little mohawk-action going on!! Ha!
As far as Will’s nursery goes – we chose to keep it neutral with a mix of gray, white, and wood elements (sources sited below), especially since we were waiting to find out the gender! Simplicity was probably my biggest goal with the space, and I loved incorporating a few DIY projects, handmade pieces and even some items from both of our childhoods.
Thank you Emily + James, for capturing such a special time in our lives! We adore you both and are anxious to meet YOUR little one here in the next couple of weeks! Will’s excited for a new friend to play with, too!!
