A Purdue University Wedding | Heather + Eric | Jessica Dum Wedding Coordination

One of the most important and poignant decisions a couple will make while planning their wedding is where to host their ceremony and reception. For Heather + Eric, their decision was clear. The pair fell in love at Purdue University, so the campus’s beautiful grounds and storied football stadium served as the ultimate venue in which to celebrate.

This was not the first time we had met Heather + Eric. We coordinated Eric’s sister’s wedding a few years ago, so their day served as a sweet reunion with a family we have come to adore. These two planned an equally meaningful day, and they offered guests their first sneak peek through their wedding invitations. Athena Street Creative designed a soft pink and green garden inspired suite that would inspire all of Heather + Eric’s color palette and floral details. Plus, the suite was simply stunning!

During their ceremony, Heather met Eric at the top of the aisle to exchange vows at the Shively Club. The couple were able to overlook Ross Ade Stadium where they captured portraits with their wedding party once they were officially Mr. and Mrs. Of course, their Purdue University wedding day would not have been complete without a stroll around campus with their photographer, Sarah, from Wandering Heart Photography. And, the crew made sure to make a stop at Harry’s Chocolate Shop – a storied bar on Purdue’s campus.

Heather + Eric’s reception at the Purdue Memorial Union was filled with thoughtful details, like their handlettered escort cards, blush pink floral menus from Athena Street Creative that captured the same look of their invitation suite, and garden-inspired centerpieces designed by Honey & Sage Floral Studio.
