A Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion Wedding | Brooke + Christian

We are so fortunate to work with some of the loveliest couples, and Brooke + Christian were one of our favorite pairs! From the moment we started planning together, Brooke had a wonderful go-with-the-flow attitude, and she also had a beautiful vision of her design aesthetic and her ideal wedding day over the Memorial Day weekend. And we always enjoy when both happen!

Brooke + Christian celebrated both their ceremony and reception at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion Memorial Day weekend. It’s one of our favorite Indianapolis and Carmel, Indiana wedding venues because of the abundance of natural light, and the aesthetic is as elegant as it is garden inspired. The outside of the Ritz Charles reminds us of a European chateau, while the pavilion feels as though it is tucked away to create a secret space meant only for couples and their guests to enjoy.

The pair spent their mornings getting ready before capturing portraits outside together and with their wedding party. Stacy Able Photography captured everyone beautifully as always, and we have to note how much we adored Brooke’s bridesmaids in their pink and rose gold sequin gowns! They truly made the couple’s color palette come alive.

Though they had just captured photos during their portrait session, a strong band of storms threatened Brooke + Christian’s outdoor ceremony. Together with their floral, venue and DJ teams, we allowed the weather to pass and then quickly cleaned their ceremony space. We were so elated the clouds parted and Brooke + Christian were able to recite their vows outside in front of their guests. And, the weather remained beautiful for the rest of the evening!

Inside their reception, The Empty Vase knocked it out of the park once more! We love this team, not only for their flexibility when weather rolls in but also for their beautiful designs at every wedding they get their hands on. For Brooke + Christian, they designed a grand space filled with a draped ceiling and tall glass centerpieces with lovely pink florals. The centerpieces paired beautifully with the gold and glass place settings to welcome guests to a celebratory meal shared together.

Whether we were planning before their day, watching as Christian saw Brooke for the first time in her stunning wedding dress (the back was breathtaking!), or witnessing their guests keeping the dance floor full for their entire reception, we enjoyed every moment we spent with Brooke + Christian Memorial Day weekend. And, we know their wedding party, family, and friends would agree!
