One of the best ways to describe Katelyn + Matt’s Carmel Indiana wedding day is to say it was bold, bright and whimsical with a keen eye focused on the relationships they share with their families. Katelyn largely planned her wedding day with her mom, and it was clear how much joy this mother-daughter duo found throughout their planning process.
Both Katelyn + Matt thoughtfully spent their wedding morning prepping for their celebration, and Katelyn’s love for bright colors shined through early thanks to the preppy coral tank tops her bridesmaids wore while getting ready. Katelyn’s high-neckline beaded illusion wedding dress from Marie Gabriel Couture matched her personality perfectly, and she looked absolutely stunning!
Once they were officially Mr. and Mrs., Katelyn, Matt, and their wedding party, who were all clad in touches of pink, banded together to fully embrace the rainy weather. The groomsmen teamed up to shelter Katelyn and her gown from the rain, and the group traveled to to capture portraits throughout their gorgeous greenery-filled gardens.
Black Iris Estate presented a beautiful canvas for Katelyn + Matt’s story and bright palette to continue to unfold. The mansion boasts beautiful architecture that mixes elegant style together with classic timelessness, and the team from outfitted the ballroom in florals in shades of bright pink, yellow, ivory, purple, and burgundy. Even the classic white and gold cake by received a bright pop of color!
It was an honor to coordinate the details for Katelyn + Matt, and we hope you enjoy their gorgeous images captured perfectly by Jessica Strickland Photography.
