A Cape Cod Inspired Wedding | Annie + Joe | Jessica Dum Wedding Coordination

Annie + Joe may have known each other since high school, but they did not decide to turn their acquaintanceship into a relationship until after they had graduated. Regardless, we’re so happy they did! Plus, Annie + Joe both know lead coordinator Jessica’s brother, so this celebration felt extra special thanks to personal ties!

During the months leading up to their wedding, we planned with Annie and her mom, Karen, and we could not have had any more fun than we did with these two! They are wonderfully fun when they’re together, which made our meetings feel relaxed and so very enjoyable. Annie noted she found the most inspiration through Cape Cod style, so the wedding day she and Joe shared at the Indianapolis Central Library was inspired by her favorite location: Cape Cod.

One of the most unique things we learned about Annie is she collects ginger jars, which are perfect to use as vases. Accent Floral Design happily took them over and utilized them as vessels for Annie + Joe’s brightly colored centerpieces. As much as we enjoy working with classic neutrals, Annie + Joe’s colorful palette offered a welcome diversion from the more common hues!

Not only was color infused by Accent Floral Design through the flowers, but it was also welcomed throughout the rest of their tablescapes. We especially loved the pop of coral incorporated in their twisted napkin fold across glass chargers, paired with gold flatware! Plus, the mix of white and wooden x-back chairs offered a fun touch, and so did the combination of farmhouse tables with rounds and bistro lighting suspended above the tables! A true nod to Cape Cod it was!

Annie + Joe’s relationship alone made their celebration one to remember. We will forever adore how Gabrielle Cheikh Photography captured how they transformed a classic space into such a bold and colorful one thanks to Annie + Joe’s spot-on, beautiful vision!
