We are warning you now, this snowy winter wedding we had the honor of coordinating is nothing short of amazing! The sneak peeks of the head table immediately flooded our inbox with oohs and aahs, begging for all the details!
Nick + Claire set out to create a dream winter wedding and they did just that. The Biltwell Event Center’s brick and iron detailing balanced this winter wedding’s moody ambiance. Golden inflections, hues of green, touches of whites, creams, and amber kept the space warm and inviting as several inches of snow fell in the background against the Indy skyline.
The day started with Emily Wehner Photography opting for a modern art-inspired first look at The Alexander Hotel. The captures of Claire’s lace dress and Nick’s timeless tux were accents to the pure happiness that the two of them exuded throughout the day. They then moved to The Biltwell’s renovated factory, an industrial setting, for both the ceremony and reception.
We are especially fond of weddings that surprise us with details that are unexpected and unique. Claire worked in the wedding industry so she was privy to seeing a wide variety of weddings come to fruition. She thoughtfully selected each element of her own day and had a clear vision from our very first meeting.
Their kings table was a focal point of the entire room. Nick + Claire sat at the head of their table in ghost chairs underneath a custom arch created by the dynamic duo at Old Forest Farm. The table was draped in velvet green linen accented by gold chargers and a variety of vintage amber goblets from Violet Vintage. Simple glass enclosed candle sticks illuminated the long swag of greenery down the center of the table. It was definitely a show stopper!
Another notable addition was the espresso bar from Brickhouse Coffee Co. Guests were warm and caffeinated to keep the dance floor filled along with music by the always incredible, Living Proof.
It is always a wonderful compliment when we are selected to be a part of a bride and groom’s wedding day. And this one was extra special as Nick is Jess’ cousin so she had the honor of experiencing the evening as a guest while our Lead Coordinator, Brittany, worked hard behind the scenes to execute their day! Nick, Claire and their families were so gracious throughout the wedding planning process and we couldn’t be more thrilled for how the day turned out.
Sit back with a warm cup of coffee and relive the magic of this winter wedding through Emily Wehner’s images!
