Caroline and Griffin’s late summer wedding day was a dream. And it all came down to the fact that they worked with incredible vendors who incorporated their style into their event beautifully. And we’re so excited to share them with you today!

We absolutely love executing events at Laurel Hall! It’s a historic space set on six acres in Indianapolis, and it reminds us of a European estate. Needless to say, there is tons of inspiration to draw from it—and Caroline and Griffin’s team absolutely did.

Because Caroline had a specific aesthetic in mind for their wedding day, she chose to work with Amber of Blush & Blossom Events to create a cohesive design and styling plan. Once that was in place, Amber then teamed up with Autumn of Isibeal Studio to make sure C and G’s vision would come to life in such a way that was beautiful, unique, and suitable for all of the spaces. We absolutely loved knowing so much collaboration happened behind-the-scenes because it was our job to then help pull together all of the moving pieces on Caroline and Griffin’s wedding day.

Not only were Caroline and Griffin wonderful to work with because we knew they had incredible style, but we entered into our working relationship knowing that the couple wanted to fully hand over all of the details to us on their wedding day. That made our part easier because we knew we had all of the facts and figures as we were jumping into things, which created a much more seamless experience and wedding day. Plus, Caroline is one of the sweetest people, which made every moment we spent with her even better!

Once the couple’s wedding day arrived, we were in full logistics mode. There were lots of moving pieces and multiple vendors (sometimes a few for each element!), and we made sure to keep everyone on the same page. Plus, we had various backup plans in mind just in case the late summer Indiana weather decided to pivot away from bright and sunny. It was all a challenge, but it was one we loved.

Ultimately, Caroline, Griffin, Amber, and Autumn’s vision came together wonderfully at Laurel Hall. Although it wasn’t always a wedding venue, the space is made for it! The wedding party was able to get ready onsite before capturing the first look and family photos outside on the grounds. Then everyone departed for Caroline and Griffin’s classic church ceremony at St. John The Evangelist. We welcomed the bride, the groom, and their guests back for cocktail hour inside the solarium (we loved the custom bars and mini custom lounges in this space!). Once it was time for dinner, everyone retreated back outside to dine under bistro lights at long family-style tables. Finally, guests came back inside to dance. Overall, the flow created such a great use of all of the spaces!

Of course, we’ve saved the absolute best part of Caroline and Griffin’s wedding day for last: their details. Everything from the custom seating chart sign from Interprintations to the florals was out of this world! Amber and Autumn absolutely outdid themselves. The entryway and fireplace florals created epic statements, and we still cannot get over the cake table! Not only was the cake adorned with blooms, but the entirety of the table was too. This crew even went so far as to rent place settings from The Collection by Courtney Ingraham, and individual favors were placed on each guests’ setting too. When we say, no detail was overlooked, we’re not kidding!

Caroline and Griffin’s wedding was beyond beautiful, and the photos by Michelle Beller absolutely capture why so well. Above all, it was the team that they chose to work with who made everything shine brightly. We loved being invited to turn C and G’s wedding into their reality, and we cannot wait to work with all of these incredible creatives again in the future!
